PixFolder version 1.2.0 update is submitted to Marketplace

  • PixFolder now supports showing month markers. When month marker option is enabled, PixFolder adds a marker image whenever a new year/month starts.
  • You can now change picture's date/time and file name. Picture's new date/time is saved as a part of its file name hence the original EXIF information is retained if the picture has one. Changing the date/time also changes the display order as PixFolder lists pictures by their date/time and file name.
  • PixFolder now recognizes the DateTimeOriginal field of EXIF information for JPEG pictures. (DateTimeOriginal field is used for storing date/time information of when the picture was taken.) It will be taken into consideration for determining the listing position of a picture.
  • Uploading to SkyDrive now makes use of the Windows Phone built-in social network settings; you simply need to select "social network" when you want to share your uploaded file with Facebook and/or Twitter friends.
  • The new version also includes bug fixes and backup/restore performance improvements.
