Hi,
Can some instructions be provided for dynamic port forwarding? I'm interested in the ability to run the equivalent command of ssh -ND 1234 user@server, so that I can utilize port 1234 as a proxy.
This seems to be a GREAT feature added to the 5.1 release, and I'd love to figure out how to set it up properly so that I can use it successfully with some of my apps that can use SOCKS / Proxying.
Thanks!
Overall procedure for adding a dynamic port forwarding is as same as adding a local or remote port forwarding. More detailed instruction is found at:

In the above page (Step 1.3), starting from 5.1.0, you will also see "Dynamic" menu along with "Local" and "Remote". After selecting "Dynamic", simply enter a local port number that you wish to use it as a SOCKS proxy port. The port number is initially set to 1080 (commonly used SOCKS port number), but it can be any number if the port is not already in use.
