Arrow Key Mapping

In evaluating the 5.x release, I've noticed that on the HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) that users cannot map the up / down / left / and right arrow keys, making it the program very difficult for usability.

Is there a solution for fixing this?

Token2Shell/Mobile *does* support mapping arrow keys. :-)

When you press an arrow key, you are actually sending a series of control characters, and the server is reacting to that sequence. In order to make the server recognize the sequence as expected, you must correctly setup "Terminal Answerback" and "Keyboard Mapping" options.

Those options are found in [ Menu] -> [ Options ] -> [ Terminal Defaults ]. They must be correctly configured according to your server otherwise your server ignores the key sequence sent by Token2Shell/Mobile. (If you're using address book, you must set the mentioned options in the address book entry settings.)

If you do not see a list of available keyboard mappings in "Keyboard Mapping" option, please check your "Home Folder" setting ([ Menu ] -> [ Home Folder ]). When you first install Token2Shell/Mobile, it's set to "\My Documents\Token2Shell" and all initial settings are stored there. If you change this path, Token2Shell/Mobile does not copy the existing settings to the new path. It simply creates an empty folder and start creating new ones.

If you need to view or edit the actual "Keyboard Mapping" assignments, go to [ Menu ] -> [ Options ] -> [ Keyboard Mappings ].

Yes, this was the solution!! I had mistaken my home folder after I set it to another one. I just purchased the software.. definitely the BEST Windows Mobile SSH client ever! Certainley a LOT of creative thought and effort has gone into this software.

Thank you ;)
