We are currently working on a server program. It's based on SSH protocol and utilizes address book entries created in Token2Shell. By using this server, you don't need to make copies of address book entries for your mobile devices such as notebooks and smartphones. It also supports SFTP for transferring files. Token2Shell will be released as version 6.0 with the necessary changes to make full use of these new server features.

For Token2Shell/Mobile, as you already have heard, Microsoft is planning on launching Windows Phone 7 and this new OS is incompatible with the previous Windows Mobile OS that Token2Shell/Mobile is based on. Hence, frankly speaking, Token2Shell/Mobile is not our first priority at the moment. But, we're *NOT* planning on abandoning Token2Shell/Mobile!

Token2Shell/Mobile 6.0 will be released after we release products for Windows Phone 7. Yes! We are indeed working on Windows Phone 7 software! :-) It's not an SSH client such as Token2Shell/Mobile (such type of program is not possible with the initial version of the OS, more info at http://choung.net/data/node/147), but it'll coincide with our new server software efforts. (We were lucky enough to receive a WP7 developer phone from Microsoft, and if you're thinking about buying a smartphone or adapting it for your business, we highly recommend waiting for its release!)

By the way, the new version 6.0 of Token2Shell and Token2Shell/Mobile will be offered free of charge to version 5.0 customers regardless of price changes.
