When you launch SharePlug, you'll see a session profile manager. Each session profile entry contains options and settings for creating a virtual computer that represents a real computer on remote site. The following explains basic settings that need to be configured initially.
When you enable this option, SharePlug automatically activates additional components and ports for accessing shared folders on a computer with Windows(R) operating system or server software that supports CIFS/SMB protocol such as Samba (http://samba.org).
Tapping on this item shows a popup menu that allows you to manage custom port forwarding entries. SharePlug supports TCP port forwarding, thus you can port forward such service as Web, SMTP, SFTP and POP3 running on the remote computer to the virtual computer created by SharePlug.
SharePlug also supports adding a port that acts as a SOCKS 4/5 proxy server port. When you add such port, you can use the virtual computer created by SharePlug as a proxy server for accessing other servers or systems on remote site without adding static port mappings.
For managing a port item that's already added, simply tap the item you wish to manage. SharePlug will then show a popup menu that allows you to edit, delete, enable or disable the item.
Enter the computer name or its address where the shared folders you wish to access reside. (Please note that the "SSH Sharing Gateway" *must* be able to connect to this computer using this name or address.)
Enter the address of SSH Sharing Gateway along with your access user ID. The user ID entered here will be used for logging into SSH Sharing Gateway.
The user ID and address should be entered together using an '@' character. For example, if your user ID is "user001" and server address is "nas772.myserver.addr", enter "user001@nas772.myserver.addr".
(If you wish to specify a port number, please use colon(:) character after the address. For example, if you need to connect to your server at port number 999, enter "user001@nas772.myserver.addr:999". If you do not specify a port number, a standard port number for SSH protocol, i.e., 22, will be used.)
SharePlug supports various user authentication methods. Please check your server settings and choose an appropriate one.
Entered password will only be stored if "Permanently save password" option is selected. If no password is entered, SharePlug will bring up a password input box after connected to the server.
When this method is selected, depending on your server configuration, you may see one or more security question dialog box after connected to the server.
These methods use private/public key encryption and you need to store your key files under [ Home Folder ] » "ssh\keys" folder. If the key files are properly placed and recognized by SharePlug, you should be able to select one from the list box.
For addition information about setting up private/public key files, please go to the following page:
The above page is prepared for our other products based on SSH technology, and they all share the same mechanism for locating and recognizing SSH private/public key files.
After SharePlug is activated and a connection is successfully formed between the gateway server and SharePlug, you should be able to access the remote network resources by using the "Virtual Computer Name".
For example, if "Windows File Sharing" is enabled, you should be able to access the shared folders from File Explorer by using the "Virtual Computer Name" in [ Menu ] » [ Go To ] » [ Open Path ] » [ New Path ].

Please note that if "Allow access from other devices" option is not set, some software may have a problem locating the virtual computer created by SharePlug using the "Virtual Computer Name" you set for it. In such case, please try using "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" as the address for the virtual computer instead.
For example, if you have set SharePlug to forward a port number 80 for accessing your company's internal Web site and cannot connect to the server from Web browser using the "Virtual Computer Name" (e.g., http://shareplug), try using "http://localhost" or "http://127.0.0.1".
